Pilot Program Terms

1. The Pilot Program

BoatShippingUSA operates an invitation-only pilot program that connects boat buyers, boat dealers, and boat shipping companies. By creating a pilot account or otherwise participating in the program, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Pilot Pricing

Participation in the pilot is free of charge, including the use of the shipping calculator widget and the routing of shipping requests to your selected shipping companies. Before the pilot ends, participants will be offered a choice of paid plans (such as a monthly subscription or a pay-per-lead plan). No charges will apply without your explicit agreement to a paid plan.

3. Shipping Requests and Communication

Shipping requests are routed to shipping companies selected by the dealer and/or to BoatShippingUSA vetted shipping partners. Communication between buyers and shipping companies is relayed through BoatShippingUSA conversation email addresses so that the conversation stays organized and responsiveness can be measured.

Responsiveness during the pilot is measured automatically, including first response time, average response time, and an overall responsiveness rating. These metrics may be used to select which shipping partners receive future shipping requests.

4. Estimates Are Not Quotes

Estimated shipping costs, transit times, and import charges are provided for informational purposes only and are not binding quotations. Final pricing and services are determined by the selected shipping company based on the actual vessel, route, dimensions, and current market conditions.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to provide accurate business and contact information, to use the platform only for legitimate boat shipping inquiries, and not to misuse buyer contact information received through the platform. BoatShippingUSA may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided “as is” during the pilot. BoatShippingUSA is not a party to any shipping agreement between buyers, dealers, and shipping companies, and does not guarantee the performance of any participant.

7. Changes

Because this is a pilot program, these Terms and the Privacy Policy may be updated as the platform evolves. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
